1) 12 September 2013. My sister and descendants of Pascal Monlezun, our paternal great-great uncle gathered for the first ‘Heritage Workshop’ and an abbreviated ‘Heritage Tour!’ They had bags of ‘paper,’ sat around the table and learned what to do with each sheet keeping their smile all the day long! What a grand day!
Constance Victoria had her own room and table … the Basque Room! She never looked up for four hours ordering paper, CD’s and pics that she has amassed! Constance directed our first ‘Monlezun/Peterson Family Reunion’ in 2005 at this home of origin and 236 descendants of two brothers, Pascal and Dominique, were in attendance!! This is why we are beaming for we find this whole lineage thing absolutely fascinating especially finding each other.
2) Friends of our friend Shirley Griffin, Crowley, LA. This is her 4th event on Arthur Avenue!! What a lady and life-long friend of my first cousin Alberta Gertrude Hensgens-Lyons. Small world after all!
